Assembly Topics:

Teen Suicide Prevention  A 90 min. assembly that is uplifting, laced with humor, stories and a positive message of life.  Discussion points include:  what is depression, the warning signs of depression, how drugs & alcohols affect depression, where to go for help, Self-Esteem, building it in yourself and in others.

Self-Esteem

A 45 minute assembly that hits at the heart of how people feel about themselves and how we treat each other.  Students are challenged to take a look at their future and to see themselves as a success.

Drug & Alcohol Abuse

This 45 minutes assembly deals with the issue of drug and alcohol abuse in such a way that young people will listen and not feel preached at.  It gives the teens an opportunity to explore their feelings on why they choose to use and abuse drugs.  Teens have said after hearing this assembly, "It is so much easier to say no and live it!"

Anti-Violence

A 45 minute, uplifting message of love and respect that helps to bring people together in spite of their difference.

Abstinence

This is a 45 minute assembly that touches on sexual pressures facing teens today, dysfunctional relationships and peer pressure.

Parent-Teen Communication

This program is directed to parents.  It works well as a 60 minute evening follow-up to the day's assembly.  Parent/teen communication is looked at in a non-threatening atmosphere that allows parents to gain new insights to their parenting skills.  A very positive program.
